Retail industry insights at Asia Retail Congress 2012

Event to showcase the best practices and latest technologies in the retail industry, international and domestic retail giants to participate

The much awaited Asia Retail Congress 2012 will provide the ultimate platform for the retail sector to promote world class practices in the retail industry and focus on the burning issues in the sector. With the Indian retail sector on the verge of a massive overhaul, the event will be an ideal melting pot of some of the biggest names in the global retail sector.

According to Dr Prodipta Sen, chairman of Asia Retail Congress (ARC) 2012, who is also the executive director of Alpha G:Corp, “ARC 2012 will be a landmark event in many ways. Organised retail is poised to open its doors to FDI as this is the first time that organised retail of automobiles will be discussed. Development of trust will be another milestone in terms of establishing brands and what they stand for in terms of meeting the expectations as well as aspirations of people. The central theme for the ARC 2012 itself is, 'Meeting the demands of the smart and discerning consumers', including Customer Relations Management, which is fast becoming the order of the day for success in modern retail."
 
Participants will also learn a great deal from some of the present stalwarts in the retail industry as several of them likely to be present at the event will be speaking about the industry and sharing the best practices that exist. With retail professionals from domestic and international markets set to attend the event, ARC 2012 truly stands out as the stepping stone for the complete globalisation of the Indian retail sector.
