Established in the year 1960, Chordia Food Products Ltd (CFPL) is today a well-known name in the field of pickle and tomato ketchup manufacturing and retailing. During the initial stages, it was a small venture based mainly at the homes. However, with the passage of time it has evolved to become the leading manufacturer of tomato ketchups under the brand names Pravin, Navin and Toofan. The company maintains a strict quality policy that makes the products manufactured best of their kind. The brands are well established in the domestic market and enjoy massive retail presence.

 
The products offered by the company have been accepted widely in the domestic and international market. The company has a well-maintained sales and distribution network. Manufacturing facilities of Chordia Food Products are in Maharashtra, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
 
Owing to the large customer base, CFPL has to maintain a strict quality policy. The policy says that CFPL will assure that “customer satisfaction” is ensured always. It would be the main objective of the company, towards which all efforts are to be directed.
 
Chordia Food Products launched an ambitious new project in the year 2002. The company also has plans to enter the frozen food market.

This include awards like Rajiv Gandhi National Quality Award, National Productivity Award, highest Recognition from Indian Institute of Packaging, Mumbai, Certificate of Merit, APEDA and many others.
 
Mission
 
CFPL has elaborate plans to set up modular units in various states which would bring about uniformity in operations. This would give the company localised advantages and also promote growth through decentralisation.
 
The company has further plans of launching an elaborate distribution system for marketing throughout India. This will be well matched by timely introduction of new products in the food retail sector. The company also wishes to start overseas operation to boost export trade.
